Spertus
In November, 2007 Event Creative helped the Spertus Institute of Jewish Studies host their new building opening.
Once again creative tactics were taken and Event Creative used their elements of decor to create an
innovative environment perfect for showcasing the new modern space located on Michigan Avenue.
All four floors were utilized for cocktail reception purposes, each decorated in a unique, yet consistent fashion.
The reception was held in a clear span, clear top tent, which allowed the new building to be seen from a number
of beautiful evening views. A small conversation stage was placed in the very center of the transparent tent.
Our team provided cameras, microphones, IMAG screens for on-site footage, so the dinner program could be
seen and heard by all guests. Simple, small, white floral centerpieces added elegance and made sure to keep
the attention on the structure. Minimal decor was needed, since lighting was the best was to accentuate
the buildings new architecture. The use of up-lighting helped high-light the prism-like interior of the new lobby.
Creative lighting designs bounced off unusually shaped angular wall adding color and an artistic feel
to an event celebrating an artistic creation.
